Last night I had a dream that I was in China. I was in McDonalds with Pharrell & I really wanted some barbeque. I have no clue what that means and it has nothing to do with this post. The other week I had a dream that I was performing with Salt-n-Pepa to a Woodstock-sized audience and I didn't know the words and we'd never rehearsed. I took the lyrics on stage with me and missed all the cues I'd highlighted. People started throwing things on stage. It was a horrible failure. This still has nothing to do with this post, I'm just wondering what's on my subconsious brain.

make IT.

So now I find myself back in super reality. Far from the ever-present neon lights in Tokyo and the too tall palms of Los Angeles. Far from the quintessential, old world-idyllic Virginia, and very far from having any time on my hands. Today I walked the streets in Philly and breathed in it's cracks, curses, and phantom black plastic bags that blew along the way. I breathed in it's tired eyes and smart-mouthed school kids. I watched two cars collide this morning, just feet before me. I love it all, and that's what keeps it interesting.

I am being shaped now, carved out by my intent to love this world and to share the one that I live in. I can never again live in fear of what may be, with the unknown as my crutch. It's in my ability to promote this, shout this, broadcast this understanding.

GO OUT & LIVE. GO OUT & EXPECT. GO OUT & EXPAND. Go out, farther, farther, farther, and watch the world get closer, closer and closer. Love.

It's so funny to sound like an old aunt or motivational book infomercial. It's just all the thoughts coming into perspective and melding with practice... "let me know if ya'll is with me ya'll..." © Doom.

I want to extend true gratitude for all who have showed love in whatever form they could. I think thanking (ha) is a lost art sometimes, but thanks.

Metaphysics is the branch of philosophy that explains nature of reality and existence. Understanding the energy you exude in the world is central to personal success, and your impact on your world. New World,

Yesterday makes my first week in L.A. I'm taken by the palm trees and blue sky. I question the necessity of burger joints on every corner. The concept of 99 cent Soul Food is amazing, and of course the music is funky. The following shots are all from this past week. Even waking up is an adventure.
