Peace World,

I've been gone for a plethora of reasons.
Overall, I've been waiting to feel inspired.
Meanwhile, I caught the flu, bounced back, and took care of myself in a lot of ways. I looked around my world, as beautiful as it could be, and realized my growing disappointment for folks I knew for a fact knew what love was, but acted in fear. I know, the times we are living in are strange indeed. They are electric, they shock, they fizzle, they go out when the bills aren't paid; and I realize that everyone I know is trying to cope with that,
including me.

After some time went by, I decided not to mope about the ill powers that be about and act. I literally searched for good things: in boxes in my space, flipping through tv channels, smiles on the street, watching videos of amazing people do amazing things..tapping into a reality.

Then I started sharing my world.

My first offering, World. A step outside my Madd Baby Blog endeavours, this vid has no words, but explains a lot about who I am and the things//sounds I see beauty in that got me here. The video contains sounds from myself, KnXwledge, Jamer$on, and devonwho, and appearances from just about everyone I connected with Spring-Summer '08. Editing really defined some things for me, and hope that the inspiration can live on just the same.

Lastly, I sang in autotune. My curiousity overcame me. I didn't hate it. I think I just hate the songs that are made with it. But I like this song. Big ups to Leef Mayfield (peep on Elzhi//The Preface) on the beat hitting em' with the easy-like-Sunday Motown soul. The song is called Milky Way & you can listen to it if you click here.

So that's me. Unfortunately I couldn't keep up with my Analogue Avengers posts, but Ms. Mae Jemison proved an excellent individual to hold down the whole month. Now it's Women's History Month & I'll try to do a better job at that,

In 2 days, I'll escape this cold & go congregate with the good folks in L.A. Even better, Coma-Chi is coming from Tokyo to visit us. I'm geeked. I'm inspired again. I'm Analogue.
