The very talented beatmaker/artist & homie Teebs [myspace] just released the 2nd part of his My Hollow Drum x Record Sleeve series. His earlier character portraits made me recall artist Cy Twombly, a big influence of Basquiat. The objects in new series have a dope amount of depth to them, almost like you can touch the flowers in real life....while an intersecting midnight blue pyramid-portal tries to suck you in.....haha.
