This is the beautiful new program brought to Philly + NYC by sound scientists Rucyl Mills, and King Britt.
"King Britt and Rucyl present 2 nights of sonic night of sonic and visual funk taking micro-edits of Sun-Ra source music and combining with live experimentation and video collage."
Philadelphia is home of the Ra-Arkestra house, and the ICA in West Philly has been holding events all month to commemorate this man's legacy and music. The truth is, if there were no Ra, a lot of musicians you couldn't live without now wouldn't be doing the same things, in the same ways.
