grace jones x keith haring.
World,
Feeling nostalgic. Grace is an inspiration, so is Keith; as two individuals who chose art over everything and have made a deep imprint in how people perceive who can do it.
For Grace's video I'm Not Perfect [But I'm Perfect For You] Keith painted Grace's body, as well as a huge piece of fabric she later dons as a skirt. Vicious. The song has ill, thoughtful references to race, class, and re-defining standards of beauty in our world. Both Grace and Keith have worked to do just that.
